We understand that when moving to a new location it’s the little things that are important (after all, what are we to do without Wi-Fi?). We are able to provide support and guidance to your employee so that they can focus on their new life, without the administrative burden of setting up utility accounts or trying to locate their nearest doctor's surgery.
Our Settling-In support starts a few weeks ahead of the planned move-in day. Through our dedicated service partners, we are able to guide your employee through the maze of utility suppliers, to ensure that they select the right package for their needs. It can take several weeks for telephone lines to be activated, and we understand how important ‘getting connected’ to friends and family at home will be.
Our accompanied Settling-In support usually takes place on the same day as the key handover, and again, where possible, we will arrange for the Area Specialist who supported your employee during their Area Orientation and Home Search, to also support your employee with their Settling-In - we believe it’s always nice to see a familiar face!
The Settling-In support is tailored to your employee's specific needs, although we often start the day with a short area orientation to familiarise the family with their new location, remind them of the public transport links, and supermarkets close by.
We can be totally flexible around what else can be covered with your employee, however we are frequently asked to help with the registration for doctors and dentists, accompany the employee to their bank appointment, and set up appointments at local gyms or leisure facilities.
