A client needed a fully furnished apartment for a Dutch employee to use mid-week. He would return home most weekends to his family. Key priorities The apartment had to be within an easy commute to Heathrow and accessible to the M4 as the company's headquarters are in Reading. It also needed a guest bedroom as the client's family might stay some weekends. First step The client's personal relocation consultant suggested that Windsor and Maidenhead would be suitable: both were close enough to Heathrow and each has a motorway junction. The Relocation Consultant also took into account that the client would be on his own during the week, so it was important that there were health clubs, cinemas and theatres nearby. Next step The Relocation Consultant searched the letting agents within both towns. She then arranged an itinerary and escorted the client to view several available apartments. One of these was a new apartment, very close to the motorway junction at Maidenhead with a private Gym less than five minutes drive away. Final choice An offer was made and RSG then liaised with the client's company legal department and the Letting Agent. The Tenancy Agreement was checked, funds transferred and the Inventory Check all carried out within one week. Moving in The Relocation Consultant met the client at the apartment to hand over his keys. He was also pleased to receive groceries and a local Information Pack. He joined the Gym that evening.
